A Meatball Sammie

I really like the way The Pioneer Woman cooks.  She makes some really yummy stuff.  While hanging out on her blog one night I came upon this recipe and knew it was something I had to make for my family.

I can not stomach touching raw meat.  So, I mix my meat mixture up with a spoon and scoop them up with my jumbo cookie scoop.  Hey, it works for me.  :)

Here they are simmering in the skillet.  The smell was oh-so-good wafting thru the house.

And here they are all ready to be gobbled up.  I added the peppers because I like um like that.  You could also add Parmesan cheese or black olives or whatever tickles your fancy.  (Yes, the snowman plate is very appropriate for lunches here in Michigan.)

And, here is one more picture just in case you needed to see how delish they are one more time.

This looks delicious. My daughter was just asking for meatballs :)
Cracking up about touching raw meat...I wear latex gloves because I also can't stand to touch it.

Oh wow. You are making me hungry. :o)
I just love PW recipes!! I have not tried her cinnamon rolls yet, and would like to do it while it is still cold outside. :o)
Have a great rest of your week.
Sincerely, Trish
ps. I don't like handling raw ground beef, because I can never get it all out from under my nails. Ick! So I use a spoon too! :o)

This looks so yummy! I have a friend that won't touch raw meat either. I guess it's pretty common! It looks so pretty on your snowman plate!

Don't like to handle the raw hamburger either - I put it all in a zip lock and sqish away. Your meatballs look yummy!
