I did not get to carve pumpkins this year before Halloween. So, the poor orange dears were looking at me today and I decided to carve them....on November 6th. Makes perfect sense. Right?
I went with stars all over mine.
I totally copied after this wonderful lady. I also used her tip about sprinkling cinnamon on the top of the pumpkin. When the warm candle meets the cinnamon....oh yummy does it smell like a pumpkin pie on your porch. Make sure you try it next year. That is, unless you have a little orange dear left wanting to be carved six days past Halloween like I did.

What a cute pumpkin. I love the star cut outs and can only imagine how fabulous it must smell when lit! I would want to eat it. Hahaha. :0)
Hi Shann,
We forgot to carve our pumpkins this year, too. I just read her blog last night about this idea. Love Susan Branch, too :)
So glad you followed through...it looks wonderful and I know it smells delicious.
Again...glad you are back!
We still haven't carved our pumpkins!! Maybe this is just the motivation I need. So pretty!
